The Mason Company Pickwick Pet Door is designed with solid core doors, kennels, and wall installations in mind. The durable cast aluminum frame and 1/4" thick clear polycarbonate flap create a sturdy, weather-resistant door that can withstand the test of time and the most active pets.
This unique pet door features a side-swinging design, providing comfort for pets as they pass through without rubbing against their backs. With six models available, you can find the perfect fit for dogs of all sizes. The spring hinges are plated to resist corrosion and can be adjusted to accommodate the strength and preferences of your pet.
The Pickwick Pet Door is compatible with Mason Guillotine Doors, allowing you to add a locking mechanism for added security. While it is suitable for wall installations, proper framing is required to ensure a secure fit.

Pickwick Replacement Flaps & Hinges
The Min-Max Rough Cut Out Dimensions specify a minimum and maximum range for the width and height of the opening that the Pickwick door model will fit over. The entire assembly (flap and frame) swings open when the pet is going out. Only the inside polycarbonate panel swings inward when the pet comes back in. Measure the width and height of the opening you would like to fit the pet door over, and select the model with a min-max rough cut-out range that includes those dimensions.
If using the Pickwick Door with the Mason Guillotine Door, note that as long as the rough cut-out for the Pickwick door model is the same or smaller than the max flap dimensions for the Guillotine door, the Pickwick door will fit with the Guillotine door. The Guillotine door comes in Large (max flap size 17" x 29") and Extra Large (max flap size 17" x 34"), so all the Pickwick door models will fit.

Is this chew resistant? The Pickwick doors are very chew resistant, so they are good for kennels and outdoor runs. |

Can I install this on a door? You can, however the door is one flap frame. There is no finishing frame. This means that you would have to DIY finish or frame out the interior of any hollow core doors. |

Can I install this on a wall? Yes, your contractor would have to build a tunnel to frame out the wall. |

Is it good for larger and smaller pets sharing the same doggy door? It can be a bit heavy and harder to push in the larger sizes, but you can adjust the strength of the hinges. They are offered in heavy and light, so you can switch out heavier ones for lighter Mason company pet door hinges. |

What are the frame and flap made of? The frame is a heavy aluminum and the inside panel is a clear rigid polycarbonate. |

Warranty
We sincerely believe that our modular animal enclosures are the world’s finest. Over 100 years of quality manufacturing and fair dealing stand behind every product sold by Mason Company.
Mason Company warrants that its products conform to specifications and that they are free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of three years from date of purchase (with the exception of Mason stainless steel kennel gates, which are warranted for ten years), except that Mason Company makes no warranties as to items and components furnished and warranted by others. Also with the exception of Pickwick doors. Pickwick door hinges are not under warranty. Normal wear and tear excludes the hinges from warranty.
The sole obligation of Mason Company under this warranty shall be to repair or replace (Mason Company’s option) any products found by Mason Company to be defective or not in conformity, provided that Buyer shall have given written notice to Mason Company specifying said defects and/or nonconformities within 30 days after such conditions should have been discovered.
Mason Company’s obligations are strictly limited to the foregoing which is given in lieu of all other warranties, expressed, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, quality and fitness for intended purpose or use. Mason Company neither assumes nor authorizes any person to assume on its behalf, any other obligation for special or consequential damages, or for any delay in performance of this warranty beyond Mason Company’s control.
Mason Company reserves the right to inspect all materials alleged to be defective or in nonconformance, and Buyer shall hold and protect all products for which Buyer has given notice as stated above until Buyer is instructed to do otherwise by Mason Company. While such products are in Buyer’s possession, Buyer shall be liable for all damages to said products.

I have had these doors on my kennel opening since 1995. It would be astonishing to know the cycles they have been through over the years. I have German Shorthaired Pointers so they are active. This product has help up amazingly well!

I have had two larger pickwick doors for my Rhodesian Ridgebacks, and only wanted the same for my small Basenji. It worked out well. I would recommend this anytime, especially in an area with wind.
it's a forever door
I have had the largest cast aluminum thru the wall dog door offered. It has lasted over 25 years of Newfounland's in our house. Best thing we ever did. This has withstood 10+ Newfs and a couple of smaller breed dogs over the course of time. 4 Newfs at once that all had free reign of the house and fenced yard, all thru this excellent door. Of course I have replaced the plexiglass a few times. I go to my local glass place and have them cut me a piece of smoked plexi and sand the edges smooth to match the original. The hinges have been replaced over time once plus a few loose screws. That is about the worst I can come up with. It's pretty much a no maintenance dog door.
Long Lasting Dependable
Good quality, long lasting door. Opens to the side for dogs that do not like something touching their back like a traditional pet door. Does not come with a locking cover and can be noisy when used in a quiet home.

The door I purchased was what I needed. Dogs were having a hard time at first pushing on this door but got use to it pretty quick. It was fast shipping, but the only negative I have to give is that after my purchase of this door I never received any info on when the door will be shipped or when it will arrive.
