Step 1 Determine Pet Door Placement
- Determine your pet door placement using the plastic slide in cover as a template.
- Position the top of the cover 2" higher than your pet's shoulder.
Step 2 Outline Pet Door Opening
- With plastic slide held in place, use a pencil to draw around the outside edge of slide onto the door.
- Use a nail or awl to mark the centerpoint of the four 3/8" diameter inside edge corner holes (two at top two at bottom).
Step 3 Drilling the Holes
- Remove slide and drill the four 3/8" diameter individual corner cutout starter holes.
Step 4 Cutting the Opening
- Using a sabre saw, begin with one of the outside edge cutout starter holes and carefully cut along the pencil line all th way around.
- Remove the cutout section when completed.
Step 5 Assembly & Adjustment
- Insert outer frame (no flap) into opening from exterior side. Make certain frame in flush with door surface. caulking is recommended under outer frame.
- Place inner frame (with flap) into opening from inside of door, hold in place, then install screws and tighten until snug.

Satisfactory proof of purchase must be provided to the manufacturer for this one year warranty to apply. In that case, the manufacturer will replace at no charge to the purchaser the defective part(s). No refunds will be provided to the purchaser.
