Please read instructions & notes thoroughly before installation.
Step 1 Test Fit the Panel
- Raise your sliding sash window frame to its fully open position and place the pet door assembly between the window sill and the open sash window frame.
Step 2 Adjust the Knobs
- Turn the silver knobs counter-clockwise to release the end spacers.
Step 3 Tighten the Panel
- Turn the silver knobs clockwise to tighten and lok the end spacers in position.
Step 4 Install the Foam Seal
- Measure the top of the installed aluminum sash window pet door. Unroll and cut foam bumper seal to this length.
- Peel off the protective backing and attach along the top edge of the pet door, pressing firmly as you go.
- Lower the sliding sash window frame until it touches onto the foam bumper seal.
Step 5 Install the Draft Seal
- Measure the top of the sliding sash window frame from the left edge of the latch to the outside edge of the top frame.
- Cut the vinyl draft seal to this measurement.
- Peel off the protective backing and attach along the top edge of the sliding sash window window frame, making sure the inside flexible edge touches the glass opposite the sliding sash window frame.
- Repeat this step for the right side.

I highly recommend. Really well made
I just replaced my 12+ year old cat sash. It was still in very good condition. However, my cat had scratched the door so much over the years he couldn’t see through and he wouldn’t use it. I would have replaced just the small door unit but part was not available. I highly recommend this product. Well built. Exactly as advertised. Easy to install.

Great idea! Unfortunately my cat uses his head to push the door open when it's set to only come in. Then the cats cannot come in because the lock is now stopping the door from swinging open because the door is on the wrong side of the lock. We did jury rig it so we have an extra stopper which stops our cat from being able to push it open. Would be nice if the locks had a little more meat to them. If it wasn't for our stopper, he'd push the door past the locks every night. Which again, stops the cats from being able to come back in. With that being said, we love the Cat Sash door for windows!

Overall works really well. Only issues we’ve had are: - when it’s really windy outside, door will flap open and cold air will come rushing in - once on vacation the cats managed to push the lever from in only to out only and got trapped outside.

The quality of this product is superior to any other I have experienced. I do wish the magnet had a little less strength as my cat tries to hold it open with his foot to push his nose through.
