Hale Pet Door™ was founded in 1985 in Phoenix, Arizona by S.B. (Bill) Hale, Jr. The company evolved from Hale Glass Contracting™ to Hale Security Pet Door® to its current identity as Hale Pet Door™. Through his experience in the glass industry, Bill Hale developed an interest in the idea of doggy doors installed directly through the glass pane of a sliding glass door, leading to the development of the Hale 'Through the Glass' Dog Door. Hale doors are also available in window, door, and wall models to suit your needs.

As interest grew and the demand from pet lovers for additional products and services increased, Mr. Hale was inspired to meet the challenge. And so, after more than 25 years we are proud to offer 10 models of Hale pet doors in a variety of different colors and 11 standard sizes from Small to Giant. 

Over the years Hale Pet Door has manufactured safe, secure, and energy-efficient pet doors and provided professional installation for the conscientious pet owner. Installation Options

For the unusual installation, Hale also provides custom sizing and modifications. For instance, if you have a pre-existing hole from a previous pet door, Hale Custom Dimension Pet Doors are custom built to match the dimensions of the hole (also a great option for French doors, which often require custom sizes). If you want to install in sliding glass, check out the Hale Patio Door for Sliding Glass Doors, a slider insert with a pre-installed Hale door featuring flexible vinyl flaps. This sliding glass doggie door has dual-pane glass, vinyl weather stripping, and double flaps for maximum energy efficiency.

Hale also carries traditional wall-mounted and door-mounted pet doors with the same high impact-resistant, yet flexible door flaps. Hale offers quality products that will hold up to heavy usage. However, if your flap is starting to wear down, we carry a Hale Pet Door Replacement Flap Kit so that you don't need to replace the entire assembly.

All Hale Flap Pet Doors come with a secure locking cover to block access when you want to and to keep your home secure. You can purchase an additional Hale Pin Lock for any locking Hale Pet Door model (or to add to any brand of security cover for non-locking dog doors).
